Cartagenian characters roam the streets of Paris



Until next August, the banks of the River Seine in Paris are decorated with sculptures by the colombian artist Edgardo Carmona to commemorate the bicentennial of the independence of Latin American countries.

The monumental steel works are spread over two miles, attracting the attention of the Parisian population, who marvel at their presence, interact, touch and be photographed with them. This collection is the representation of typical characters from Cartagena such as "The man on a bicycle", "The Palenquera", "The Fisherman", "The Piper" among others, so that during these couple of months the streets of Paris will breathe a little of the spirit of Cartagena.
