Adriana Pulido first disabled woman to ever receive a Fulbright - and four other success stories involving blind Colombians

Today we have the pleasure of presenting 5 successes involving blind people from Colombia:

Adriana Pulido
Blind Adriana Pulido (30) is philologist from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá and is the first disabled woman ever to receive a Fulbright scholarship. Adriana studied music at a conservatory from she was 9 until the age of 19 but decided to withdraw from music as she can not read notes with the system braille while playing, and the compositions she had to learn by heart were too long. She opted for Spanish and English, and will now do her Master in Journalism and Communication.
